Kart Racing PRO is a blast! We hope to join more races in the future...
We've been going through and checking out content we haven't had time for due to real-life and of course our League commiments. I am now currently on vacation and have been enjoying tracks and cars we haven't touched ever or in awhile.
Please note, the driving seen here is w/o practice and merely to see what kind of things we want to get involved in for 2017. But most of all, driving should be fun. Enjoy Motorsport!
Now I really need to figure out why my screens are not meshing together well in rF2 and iRacing. I've ran the nVidia triple-monitor setup and configured Physx, etc... :(
However, we really enjoy the early-gen Miata cup mod and Skippy's in rFactor 2.
Raceroom was a blast trying out the F3 at Macau and races in the PRO car are always fun. Looking forward to using the web dashboard in this sim coupled with the Crew Chief app. Sure to be fun and competitive!
Assetto Corsa's Porsche packs have also been fun to explore latey. BUT we also can't ever drop this sim for the day w/o running an MX5 cup race or drifting the AE86 or BMW with our new Fanatec handbrake!
The Rallycross update to VRC-Pro has been an absolute blast. We've had problems with our controller/receiver and are still trying to get used to the car.
I tried Forza 6 APEX after leaving it for a while... Still dissapointed to see no TRIPLE MONITOR support :(
All I can say it improved the experience being able to use my Fanatec handbrake...
Yes, I know rFactor is old... BUT, I really would like it if someone could point me in the right direction as to fine-tune the G27 steering settings. :)
We always enjoy running in the RallyCommunity League events. We also ran the daily events. There's some excellent talent there we hope to be able to catch up to soon! :)

Not record setting by any means but just a fun time and getting more comfortable at consistent speed.
Raceroom - WTCC 2015 career championship race!
Started vacation by running some of the last rounds in our career championship and trying out some of the leaderboard challenges.
iRacing - SRF week 13 survival!!!
It's rare for us to race in the week 13 mayhem that usually occurs but we gambled and it payed off with a good finish :)
Miika and Joonas are currently battling in Sweden! They are facing a grueling 12 stage non-service area rally. The gamble is big here as Miika has mentioned if Joonas defeats him he will retire from driving the Sweden Rally and hang up the gloves. For Joonas we are not yet sure of his fate but we have heard he has been nursing an engine with some trouble. We will keep you all posted! In our country we will begin the rally ourselves tomorrow morning.

We have recently ordered our DFGT paddles from 3drap.it!!!! Check these guys out! Great service and parts.
Here is 3drap.it G27 hub and wheel adapter kit for mounting your own aftermarket wheel to the G27 base.
Pictured above and below is the Zalem.es GT aftermarket wheel kit. I'm really surprised to find these cool mods but in a way I'm not as the Logitech G27 has had a great following even though they are showing their age. However we are still happy using our DFGT and G27!
We have been purchasing items from 3drap.it and we are now also looking at either their hub or the Zalem.es full GT kit which would also include a wheel and quick-release hub adapter. We really like both units but with the upgrades we have been doing it really means I must wait a bit to clear the holiday months as life's damn priorities get in the way of our motorsport enjoyment :(
Please feel free to let me know what you guys/girls think of these mods for the popular and mature Logitech G27 steering wheel.
Thanks, happy holidays!
This past Sunday morning we had the privilege of driving the safety car for our ROC event! Enjoy the show. Thanks to GSRC for broadcasting the event and our series organizers! Www.ablracing.com
We've just finished installing the NIXIM brake pedal mod recommended by our friend and teammate Scott Butler. While many have moved onto bigger and better equipment, we plan to run the Logitech G27 for a while. We have added button boxes, handbrake, and data analysis software to our experience. Now with the http://www.nixim.com brake pedal mod we hope to avoid sudden lock up while attempting to modulate the brake. I also hope we can brake deeper when we need to and maintain a balanced car.
We will keep followers posted as to how things are going with our additions. Thank you all!
We are really enjoying our 3drap.it G27 improved shifter feel mod! Check these guys out at http://www.3drap.it/simracing-mod/
The shifter feel is very important in a car and especially when the OEM G27 feels so weak. The added resistance is just what it needed!
The Fanatec clubsport handbrake installed by my friend JD is an excellent addition to DiRT Rally and Assetto Corsa! Thanks to JD for his big help in the install and for his assortment of tools. We picked this handbrake up from http://www.fanatec.com on their Black Friday sale!
Our friend and teammate, Scott B. advised us to run a small 7" hdmi TV for Z1 dashboard/analyzer. Perfect for keeping track of things during our races!
Without the guidance of my team mates, friends and competitors from the real and virtual world I wouldn't be enjoying the various areas of motorsport.
Thanks to all of you and let's make 2017 blazing fast!
Team Fritosport driver, Darren Boulton is representing our team in the EXILED Virtual Motorsports League. We wish Darren the very best of luck challenging this field where most drivers are using Oculus Rift as one of their tools of immersion. The first round of this challenging championship will take place at Interlagos on Dec 16th. 20 laps with the race starting at 9:00pm. Please look for updates as we will be supporting Darren any way we can and keeping up with his progress in this Assetto Corsa League!
