Hello Hello Hello!!!!!!!
Woohoo! It has been a great season. I say great because while there are always ups-n-downs in the racing world... We are very pleased with the great people that surround us and choose to associate with us in real life and the virtual.
First and foremost, we must give thanks to the great leagues and their members. Thank you to the Absolute Beginner's League for taking us in and our team. We drove the Pace Car at this season's Race of Champions event. Check them out at http://www.ABLracing.com. Johan, Wojtek, and Liam run a great league and have very helpful members. For the upcoming season we plan to run in both the Formula Neagle cup and the Tony Hayes multi-class cup.
We must also give a big shoutout to Michael Key for getting us an invite to the XtremeMotorsports99 (Continental Tire League) http://www.xtrememotorsports99.com. Michael has been great in helping us on hosted track sessions, getting us ready for our debut in September. Michael has a great knowledge of the tracks and is a very consistent driver. The series organizer, Kevin Ford is running a great show over there and it shows how well organized things are.
As both of those leagues are done for the season and we await the next season, we still have one more round in the Touring Pro Series. There we run in the WTCC TC One category with teammates Joonas, Giannis, and Darren. The Nordschleife circuit is our final round for this season. It has been tough but we finally wound up in Division 1. We hope for good results.
Finally for the league news, I just wanted to state that our driver's are open and free to run in whichever league they choose to represent Fritosport Racing Team. Some of us are choosing to focus on the MX5 (iRacing), some on the Skip Barber (iRacing), others in BTCC in rFactor 2, superV8's in iRacing, MiniMax karts in Kart Racing Pro which we hope to join the guys n Mr. Velilla, and VRC-Pro with the mod trucks. Some of us will also continue tackling the Rally Community League and possibly Virtual Rally Championship in F2 kit Car.
Now onto other news, we will be moving soon into our new HQ. We have purchased a new location and while we are in talks with sponsors (some returning/some parting) we are excited to slowly start picking up cars again. We will be once again tinkering with cars and hope to hit the West Coast tracks again in REAL life! More to come on that front...
Another BIG set of news is that our teammate, Kev Mills, has launched his website, http://www.ilovesimracing.co.uk
Ilovesimracing.co.uk manufactures button boxes, Custom-made, for your specific needs! You've gotta check out their work! It is top-notch work paired with excellent service with the user in mind. Before we had one of these excellent boxes I was having all sorts of problems during pit stops. Now our pit-stops are effortless, providing us with precise control of our pit-crew ensuring fast in/fast out work!
