WOW!!!!! What an excellent combination of track and car we saw tonight. It was a blast getting this car around this oval. We saw some great close racing and one of our cleanest and mostly caution free running races under the stars! Edgar Sanchinelli grabbed the pole gaining an extra bonus point. Big congrats to the eSport Racer drivers of Zac Burke and also Greg Mac who took the 1st and 2nd places in the race. Michael Key came to the track with a quick car and setup. Jeff Wills and him were getting after it all the way to the end. Brockway and Houran are tied in points going to round 5 with Evan Wood who had a previous commitment. Jeff Wills showed great pace and a damn good strategy until a late spin put him into charge up the field mode. Check out the results, images and video from the race below!!! See you all next round at New Jersey Motorsports Park! POINTS AFTER 4 Rounds: 1. Zac Burke = 61 2. Edgar Sanchinelli = 47 3. Mike Key = 42 4. Evan Wood = 40 5. Greg Brockway = 40 6. Brennan Houran = 40 7. Jeff Wills = 35 8. Greg Mac = 25 9. Dylan Christie = 15 The classic boot layout was a ton of fun for the drivers who saw temps reach 100F. The cars got a bit twitchy at times with the tires being abused and it showed with some having to use their spare car. Big congratulations to Evan Wood for Qualifying P1 (bonus point!). However after contact in the race we see a 2 point penalty for contact with Zac Burke. Our big winner tonight was Dylan Christie taking the top spot on the podium. Thanks for the turnout tonight and hopefully everyone can continue to enjoy motorsport! Hope to see everyone in March for our 4th round taking part at Lucas Oil Raceway! POINTS AFTER 3 Rounds: 1. Zac Burke = 46 2. Evan Wood = 40 3. Edgar Sanchinelli = 33 4. Mike Key = 31 5. Greg Brockway = 31 6. Brennan Houran = 30 7. Jeff Wills = 23 8. Dylan Christie = 15 9. It was a cool morning at Lime Rock, the drivers were getting used to running the chicane at 5/6/7. However, with a 45 min race the drivers had a bit more strategy to play with tonight. Those who were keeping their crew chiefs busy and watching the numbers figured out that most cars were going to wind up short on fuel right toward the end. It made for some exciting situations and worried teams as to who was not only fast enough, but also saved enough fuel through their stints. Round 7 of 8 was a blast and saw some clean driving. Look at the points and see that it will come down to quite the race at Charlotte Oval under the lights!!! Race Results!!! Points after 7 rounds!!!
It was a somewhat cool night in Florida's Lakeland Oval and half the field that showed up took the grid. Some drivers were benched due to irresponsible behavior in practice, but overall the drivers that made it to the grid put on a good show. Cold tires were a handful at the start of the race as we saw some half spins and unavoidable contact. However, determined drivers pushed on! No bonus points were given due to the P1 Qualifier having to leave before taking the grid tonight. Here are tonight's Rd6 results: Points after 6 Rounds:
